Mean Girls 10 year anniversary inspired fashion

                                                  "On Wednesday we wear pink"

Can you believe it was 10 years ago since Mean Girls came out, so shocked it's been that long since it was released.

So I thought why not do a Mean Girls themed beauty and fashion post, it's Wednesday and we need some pink.

"PINK WEDNESDAY" We all remember this outfit, a simple printed tee, a thin pink cardigan and the wrapped black skirt to go with it. who wouldn't remember it. With Mean Girls and pink being the theme, I have tried to recreate this classic outfit, but a little bit upto date.

Still gone for a white printed tee, but what other top would make up for the original, well how about the 'We Wear Pink T-Shirt (White), well it fits the occasion and theme perfectly, this is available on In The Style's website and is only £11.99 to buy, brilliant bargain and there great quality clothes.

Next is the pink cardigan we all know and love, as she wore it a few times in the film. I have gone for this pink lace back cardigan from New Look, at only £17.99 (certainly worth the buy). I think this is still a simple pink cardigan but has a little bit more going on with it, because of the lase back and shoulders. which I really think would go perfectly with the full outfit.

Lastly is the black wrapped skirt, instead of a wrap around, I've gone for the skort. It's not a wraped skirt but looks similar and skorts are very in trend at the moment, so no doubt she would be wearing one if Mean Girls was out now. This black leather look skort is from BooHoo and is the Madeline Leather Look Skort, at just £12.00.

"LACOSTE CLASSIC"
Next we have the well know Lacoste outfit, the dressed down Tom boy look. I've stuck with the pink Lacoste polo shirt, but it just slightly different, it's not as baggy but still the same brand and colour. This is from Asos however the only have the baby pink and not this shade of pink, but it is on sale at the moment for £24.00 and it was £70.00 originally. Next is the dark denim jeans, I didn't want to go for skinny or boot cut jeans, because I wanted to stick to the baggy type she wore as she was abit of a tom boy. These are the Blue Faded Placket Front Mom Jeans from New Look and are only £24.99
