Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation

Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation

I ran out of my usual foundation and thought i'd try a different one that I've not used before, so I thought I'd have a look in my local Superdrug. I was looking for ages and came across Maybelline's Super Stay Better Skin, I tried the tester and found my colour match. I tried it properly for the first time today and I think I've found another must have for my make up bag. In Superdrug this is priced at £8.99, this foundation is also suitable for sensitive skin. This felt so fresh and light on my face and I didn't need to use a lot, I honestly felt like I didn't have any foundation on but in a good way. The colour was the perfect match to my skin and looks very smooth on my face, for me it was excellent coverage. If you have the odd spot or bags under your eyes this will cover these girl problems right up, it made my skin look very healthy which is a great bonus and thumps up from me. It also says better looking skin in three weeks, we shall see about that in time but I'm already seeing good things from this foundation and I'm looking forward to seeing what results I'll have in three weeks time. When purchasing a different foundation to the one you usually buy can be a nightmare, as you want to try something new and find something even better but might end up purchasing one that isint to your liking however sometimes it's good to experiment in case you find another perfect foundation that you'll fall in love with. I certainly did when buying this Super Stay Better Skin. If you want flawless skin, great coverage, light on the face and healthy on the skin then I would recommend this for you.

Bespoke Bikinis

Bespoke Bikinis

We all love Summer and holiday season and can't wait to get are bikinis on and sit by the pool and look glam while tanning, Bespoke Bikinis have some fabulous swimwear to stay looking fabulous when relaxing with a cocktail on you sun longer. This is one of my personal favourites, the St Tropez Orange Monokini for £30 discounted price. I absolutely love the colour of this cut out costume, this beautiful burnt orange shade would love absolutely stunning against that glowing tanned skin. I also adore the cute out of this monokini, this will no doubt have all eyes on you on your holiday and for £30 it's a bargain. This would look fabulous with a black or white long netted see through kaftan, along with some simple sandles and shades to match your kaftan or kimono. I really think this monokini is a must have this Summer and cut out costumes are a must have for any holiday, they look great on and give your pool outfit abit of an edge.
Or do you prefer a shiny metallic look? Like this Silver And Sparkly bikini for the brilliant price of £27 result. This will be shinning bright in the sunshine, some simple black bikini knickers will making the silver bikini top stand out even more and i love the detail on the top. It looks like sunflowers turned metallic. You could even mix match your bikini bottoms if you wanted to, most colours would look great with this top. Some nice white shades and white sandles (like the ones pictures) would go great with this little number.
Lets rock the look with this Colour Block bikini for £30. This is available in blue or pink, but both colours are just as good as each other. Most of us girls love colour blocked outfits so what colour be better than trending that style by the pool. This bikini is very edgy and abit daring but if you've got it then flaunt it. I love both colours but my favourite is the blue, everyone is right when they say it's all about bright colours come Summer but i love the aqua blue and baby blue together just reminds me of the ocean. I think this would look better with a light blue sarong skirt instead of a kaftan or kimono, the bikini top has got enough detail and edginess to it as it is.

Pink with a dash of red

Go pink with Rimmel London and Barry M
I adore my pink and red shades of make up, from blusher to lipsticks. So I thought I'd do a make up blog based on these colours, especially seeing I've not done many make up posts compared to my fashion ones. Let's start off with lipsticks, I was in Superdrug the other day and needed a new red lipstick as mine have disappeared out my room, I thought I'd take a look at Rimmel London's new Kate Moss collection. The new colours are fantastic, very bold shades that will make a statement. I seen this deep red (number 01) and fell in love with it straight away, I like my bright red lipsticks but I also like a dark coloured red shade as I think it looks abit more sophisticated and edgy compared to the regular bright shades. I also came across this very eye popping bright pink shades (number 20), now I'm not normally a big fan of bright pink lipstick however this colour did pop out at me but for all the right reasons. I would not wear this if I was wearing an outfit that was all bright colours, but I think this shade would look very nice with white or black outfit just to add abit if colour to the full package.
There were so many bold colours in the new Kate Moss collection, so if you like having that long lasting statement on your lips, then have a look at their new shades. I remember when I bought my first Kate Moss lipstick when they first came out and it smelt sweet and devine and the new range is just the same. I also find these lipsticks fairly long lasting, I do tend to re do my lipstick after a few hours however I'm not having to worry about checking my lips with my compact mirror every 10 minute. I can just relax and apply again just before the end of the night.

My other new buy was some new pink shades of Barry M nail varnish, this brand has always been one of my favourites to buy for nail polish and I thought if add some more pink to my collection. I've recently bought a few pastel colours when recently buying Barry M, I adore pastel shades and there perfect for Summer. So I thought I'd add a pastel pink to my over growing collection, I applied this to my nails the day I purchased it and the colour looks lush and so refreshing on. One thing I find with Barry M is that the colour always does justice, if you like the shade of nail varnish your buying then you won't need to worry with the end result as it will look the exact same colour as from the little bottle. I also bought a beautiful sparkly pink shade as I thought it would look brilliant on top of the pastel pink as a top coat and I was correct with that thinking.

You don't need a lot of the sparkly pink and it spreads really easily and sets surly quickly. I finally also invested in a clear coat which works as a bottom and top coat and helps harden the varnish quicker. I don't know why I haven't bought it sooner, I applied this first and then again over the pastel when it had dried and again after the glittery pink. But I only needed a dash each time, you do not need to a use the top coat like you would do with your main coloured nail varnish. This coat dried my nails a lot quicker and gave them a nice gloss finish. Barry M have so many shades to offer: pastels, neons, silk, metallic, neutral  and so much more. I also feel like I'm at a candy shop whenever I pass a Barry M counter and 9/10 I will purchase a new nail polish. I also find Barry M to be fairly cheap compared to a lot of other nail brands, so if you want good quality varnish at a budget price then look no further.
