Sassea Swimwear

Sassea Swimwear

Sasea swimwear is a new swimwear brand which launched on the 22nd of July, I found this company on twitter and I was in love with their pieces straight away. My favourite pieces have to be the animal luxe bikini and the She Got A Way one piece.

There are two She Got A Way pieces, and they also do it with the colours swapped round (these are both pictured above). I really like the shades of this costume. Now the animal luxe push up is my personal favourite, I love the pattern on this bikini. It's not too vibrant but it would no doubt have heads turning. my favourite thing about this bikini is the straps on the top and the bottoms, I love the fact they are leather look and the blue tone goes so well with the black and white pattern. Also The leather strap on the briefs is only on the one side, which I think gives it that edgy look. The material is great it feels and looks well made and it is very comfy to wear. The last thing I have to say about this one is that most of the time bikinis that say they are push up normally means the swimwear will have that awkward padding stuffed in that a lot of the time your messing about trying to re position but this bikini is clever. Yes it has extra padding but it's strapped to the bikini its self so it will always stay in position and will never fall out of place after it's been washed. This will be ready to go straight in my suitcase for my next holiday.

Sassea Swimwear is unique, their items are one offs. I love new brands that have their own style. A good company has to have that effect on people of when they see someone in an item they know straight away the brand or place it's from and I think Sassea will have that effect. They have their own style and I actually love every single item on their website. I know they've only just launched but I'm already excited for their next collection to come out because I will be one of the first to purchase an item from their website.

Contour Cosmetics!

Contour Cosmetics!

I discovered this new beauty brand when browsing social media, I love finding new companies as i'm am always intrigued to see new products and if their any good. Well Contour Cosmetics was one of them and now it's part of my must haves in my make up bag. The Contour Cosmetics multi-face contouring set has 6 different easy to apply shades, for lighter skin and darker. You can even mix two shades together to get a more even colour for your skin tone. It is easy to apply and feels smooth on the skin, I've used this with and without foundation, but to be honest I prefer using it with no foundation underneath. I just moisturise and then apply the contouring set. I have pale skin so I've been using the top three shades myself. Always make sure you have the right brushes to use when applying this, when using the wrong brush you'll probably end up with stroke marks from your brush and it will make your make up not look blended in and no one likes having have a patchy face.

If you don't know which brushes to use, they also provide contouring brushes to buy. This is the contour 01 sculpting brush, for £14.00 and they also do the contour 14 blending brush for £21.00. You can either buy them separate or save £7 and just buy the contour creation package which includes the contouring set and both the brushes with it for £70. The multi use contouring set on it's own is £42. So if you already have the correct brushes to use you can just buy the set and not the brushes.

Firstly I applied the lighter shade first, I used the top left shade. I applied this to my forehead, bridge of my nose, under my eyes, chin and a small amount just under my cheekbones. I then applied the middle shades on the top row to my cheekbones, sides of my nose and to the edges of my face. I then started to blend the colours together using a blending brush.

This was my finished look, I went for the subtle contouring look. The only other product I used was the Lauren Mercia highlighting powder, for highlighting under my eyes, the middle of my forehead and on the bridge of my nose to show off the light shades on my face. This was the first time I used the multi-use contouring set and I didn't want to go for the going out look as I wanted to see what it looked like first. Since trying this new products I have this in my make up bag all the time, from wanting to contour my face for a girls night or just to show off my cheekbones as part of an every day look. I have fallen in love with this product, it is well worth a try to make your mind up yourself on the product. I will with out a doubt be buying another palette soon, I need to stock up on this beauty must have now. You can follow Contour Cosmetics on twitter at: @contourcosmetic and their website is: www.contourcosmetics.co.uk

Ciate Mini Mani Manor Advent Calender

Ciate Mini Mani Manor Advent Calendar

I have always wanted a beauty advent calendar, to open every day before Christmas and I was lucky enough to get the Ciate Mini Mani Manor. I was looking forward to opening the doors every morning, there was a great range of colours and glitters. I have been experimenting with a lot of the colours already. If you only wear calmer, softer colours on your nails, I'd still recommend on getting this advent calendar. As it has just as many neutral colours as it has bright colours

I adore the glitter varnishes, when I attempted using them I felt like I was doing arts and crafts. I used the pink glitter for one nail on each hand and used a similar plain pink colour on the rest of my nails. I applied the plain pink colour on all my nails including the two I wanted to put the glitter on, however as soon as I applied varnish on the other two fingers I put the glitter on top of it while the varnish was still wet. This was because it made the glitter stick, then I wiped away the glitter from around the nail. These glitters are perfect for making your nails stand out, maybe for a night out or a family do.

The metallic colours are great, my favourite is the pale metallic with little hints of gold in it. If you prefer wearing natural colours but are bored of your nails looking the same all the time and want a bit of a change, then this shade is perfect for you as the hints of gold make this colour pop out when on your nails.
A lot of us love the pastel colours, these pastels will be just right for you when summer is back.

Now these varnishes are the ones that will make a statement, the one big bottle of Ciate nail varnish you get in this calendar is a silver glitter (normal varnish and not the pots of glitter) if you want to add a bit of sparkle to your coloured nails then this will do just that. You also get a pot with white pearls inside, this is the one second on the left, if you like having a 3d affect to your nails then try out these pearls. There are two different sizes of pearls in the pot, the other three varnishes are like the big glitter varnish. As they will all add that extra effect to your normal nail varnish.

Ciate nail varnish is now one of my favourites, as it drys so quickly and the colours always look exactly the same as they do in the pot on your nails. I would recommend buying this to anyone who likes their nail varnishes, you get a wide variety or colours from: pastels, metallic, bright and neutral colours and also including the bold glitters, pearls and a few more sparkly nail varnishes. You also get some nail transfers behind one of the doors, however I have not tried these myself yet. This would be the perfect gift for any girl that enjoys changing the nails all the time and who is always struggling to find the right colour to wear for a certain occasion, as there's such a big variety of shades in this advent calendar. This is priced at £49.99, however this is on sale at the moment for just £14.70 0n Ciate London's website (here is the link to the Ciate London calendar) https://www.ciatelondon.com/uk/mini-mani-manor?filter_name=advent so you could even get yourself a bargain and put this little beauty away for next Christmas, weather it's a gift for someone or you just want to treat yourself.
you get 23 5ml nail varnishes and 1 13.5ml, that's 24 nail varnishes and you also get another treat which is the nail transfers (that's all 25 doors).
