Contour Cosmetics!

I discovered this new beauty brand when browsing social media, I love finding new companies as i'm am always intrigued to see new products and if their any good. Well Contour Cosmetics was one of them and now it's part of my must haves in my make up bag. The Contour Cosmetics multi-face contouring set has 6 different easy to apply shades, for lighter skin and darker. You can even mix two shades together to get a more even colour for your skin tone. It is easy to apply and feels smooth on the skin, I've used this with and without foundation, but to be honest I prefer using it with no foundation underneath. I just moisturise and then apply the contouring set. I have pale skin so I've been using the top three shades myself. Always make sure you have the right brushes to use when applying this, when using the wrong brush you'll probably end up with stroke marks from your brush and it will make your make up not look blended in and no one likes having have a patchy face.
If you don't know which brushes to use, they also provide contouring brushes to buy. This is the contour 01 sculpting brush, for £14.00 and they also do the contour 14 blending brush for £21.00. You can either buy them separate or save £7 and just buy the contour creation package which includes the contouring set and both the brushes with it for £70. The multi use contouring set on it's own is £42. So if you already have the correct brushes to use you can just buy the set and not the brushes.
Firstly I applied the lighter shade first, I used the top left shade. I applied this to my forehead, bridge of my nose, under my eyes, chin and a small amount just under my cheekbones. I then applied the middle shades on the top row to my cheekbones, sides of my nose and to the edges of my face. I then started to blend the colours together using a blending brush.

This was my finished look, I went for the subtle contouring look. The only other product I used was the Lauren Mercia highlighting powder, for highlighting under my eyes, the middle of my forehead and on the bridge of my nose to show off the light shades on my face. This was the first time I used the multi-use contouring set and I didn't want to go for the going out look as I wanted to see what it looked like first. Since trying this new products I have this in my make up bag all the time, from wanting to contour my face for a girls night or just to show off my cheekbones as part of an every day look. I have fallen in love with this product, it is well worth a try to make your mind up yourself on the product. I will with out a doubt be buying another palette soon, I need to stock up on this beauty must have now. You can follow Contour Cosmetics on twitter at:
